ChiroPlus chiropractors will find the root of your problem, allowing our treatments to have the maximum effect on your body and enabling you to get better quicker.
We know that living with pain is horrible, and pain is a symptom indicating that your body may have a deeper dysfunction which may not be apparent to you. Our ChiroPlus chiropractors are trained to identify these dysfunctions that may be contributing towards your problem and correct them. The treatments will therefore have the maximum effect and allow your body to return to full health.

What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession which specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and overall management of conditions that are due to problems with the joints, ligaments, tendons and nerves, especially related to the spine.
In the UK, chiropractors have to be registered with the General Chiropractic Council to demonstrate competent education and practice.
Chiropractic treatment mainly involves safe, often gentle, specific spinal manipulation to free joints in the spine or other areas of the body that are not moving properly. Apart from manipulation, chiropractors may use a variety of techniques including ice, heat, ultrasound, exercise and acupuncture as well as advice about posture and lifestyle.
Although chiropractors are best known for treating back and neck pain, patients also consult chiropractors regarding a range of other, related conditions.
Who are Chiropractors?
A professional that practices chiropractic is known as a chiropractor. In the UK the title of ‘chiropractor’ is protected under The Chiropractic Act (1994) legislation. The statutory regulator is the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and it is illegal to practice as a chiropractor without being registered with the GCC.
Once completing a chiropractic degree and demonstrating competency to register with the GCC, a chiropractor will still have to demonstrate continuing professional development to broaden their knowledge and keep updated with the latest research, ensuring chiropractic patients are receiving the best possible care. Our chiropractors are also registered with the British Chiropractic Association.
